GTA Member Profile - Columbia Phytotechnology, LLC

Columbia Phytotechnology, LLC is a fast-growing Columbia Gorge company focused on innovative radiant-zone drying technology, antioxidant testing and the production of high-quality flowable powders for human consumption and use in chemical processes. The company was started in 1990 to test nutritional ingredients for bio and immune-activity, specifically antioxidants. Along the way they developed and patented a new radiant zone drying technology that is capable, according to general manager Mark Savarese, of producing products better than existing processes such as freeze or spray-drying.

GTA Requests Member Volunteers

Last week the GTA Board requested 2-3 member volunteers to help with our November member event, currently scheduled to include a showcase of alternative transportation technologies. The event would include the latest hybrid automobiles, plug in electrics, alternative fuels and transportation options available for demonstration and, potentially, test drives. Event volunteers would work with board members and the GTA Coordinator to identify participants and sponsors, participate in event planning and logistics and help with hosting duties the day the event occurs. Please contact Jim Donnelly jim@crgta.org 541-296-2266 to sign up or for more information.
