Intelligence Seminar June 24th

importance of making timely, data-driven business
decisions is well understood, but often the tools,
techniques and practices needed to accomplish this
goal are not. This seminar will educate you and
your colleagues on the techniques and technology
needed to implement successful Business
Intelligence. What we'll
cover:
- Clearly define Data Warehousing
& Business Intelligence (DW/BI) key
concepts
- Describe an integrated DW/BI
technology platform; specifically using the MS
SQL Server 2005 stack
- How to start building a
Business Intelligence program in your
company

Services, Inc. Ben is an accomplished IT
professional with significant management and
reporting experience and hands-on involvement with
business intelligence and reporting
systems.

Alliance:
Kinetics, Inc. Kinetics offers
software research, engineering, design and testing
services for the Defense industry to support the
synthetic representation and computer simulation
of advanced infrared phenomenology. They design
scene generation, optical signature, and signature
modeling software programs. For more information

Prigel specializes in machining precision parts.

Networking
Members:
Lynette Black- Lynette works
with OSU Extension Service in The Dalles and is
considering options for after-school tech
activities for students.
Michelle Farnham-
Michelle is a recent addition to the Columbia
River Gorge who is seeking employment. She is also
interested in networking with local technology
companies.
Nathan Salter- Nathan joined the
GTA at the "Down into the Deep" event held in May.
This event highlighted the many educational gems
in the Gorge.
Jeremy Spray- Jeremy also joined the GTA at
our May event to engage in additional educational
presentations and network with
members.

Gorge Angel Investers
Conference hopes to bring together the
Mid-Columbia Gorge's brightest entrepreneurial
talent with qualified Angel investors. This year's
event promises to be exciting for the attendee,
entrepreneur and investor. In 2008 there will be
three companies competing for a minimum $70,000
prize. Money will be awarded to the company deemed
the most investor ready by the Gorge Angel
Investment Network (GAIN).
