Grants:
We would also like to recognize the organizations that have provided major financial support in the form of grants:

Oregon Investment Board The Oregon Investment Board granted $15,000 to the GTA to support a Project Manager through June 2007 to coordinate the "Technology Business Cluster Networking Initiative."

Economic Development Administration (EDA) The EDA provided a grant to Mid-Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD) for the development of five industry clusters in the Gorge, including the high technology cluster. The scope of work for these funds includes education, research, marketing support, and an entrepreneurship workshop. The GTA directly benefits from this grant as one of the five clusters participating in MCEDD's efforts to enhance the economy of the Columbiar River Gorge.
